What style(s) do you work in?
We have a deep appreciation for and knowledge of a wide range of design styles. Rather than working within one signature style, we prefer to make our clients’ homes personal to them by accommodating their unique tastes and preferences. Our focus is on translating our clients’ styles into cohesive, polished, timeless designs (though it’s worth mentioning that we believe in acknowledging trends and we use them in a timeless manner when they make sense for the client and the home).
Will you act as my project manager on the job site?
We use a team approach for all our projects. That means we include everyone (builders, contractors, and trades) in communications and facilitate strong, positive working relationships with everyone. That said, our background and knowledge of construction give us insight into how it all works and what to watch out for. This gives us credibility with the rest of the project team and paves the way for us to act as your eyes and ears on the job site. We make sure to advocate for your interests along the way (without ruffling anyone’s feathers!).
I love neutrals. Will I be able to get that with you?/I love color. Will I be able to get that with you?
No matter what you’re envisioning, our only aim is to make it the best design it can possibly be. Whether you want a few pops of color, a lot of color, or an all-neutral palette we’re committed to delivering it to you in the classic, timeless style we’re known for.
Can I hire you for a couple of hours to answer my design questions or pick a few paint colors?
At this time, we’re focused on providing full-service help for renovation and furnishing projects involving entire rooms, multiple rooms, or whole homes, as well as for new construction projects. On occasion, we may take on projects outside of those categories. Contact us to inquire if you have a project that doesn’t need full-service help, but you’re interested in pursuing working with us.
Where will you shop for my project’s products?
We maintain great relationships with a wide array of exclusive, trade-only vendors and are always on the lookout for new sources, as well. These brands provide more styles and more options for customization than retail sources do. Whenever possible, we also love to incorporate custom items into our clients’ projects. They aren’t always more costly than existing options, but they give you a unique opportunity to enjoy something that’s tailor-made for you and that’s perfect for you and your home.
How involved can I be in my project?
We firmly believe that collaboration – with our clients and with their other project team members – makes us all stronger and the homes we design for our clients better. We also want you to truly enjoy your project experience. Whether you prefer being presented with no more than two options or you want to visit showrooms with us (or a little of both), we tailor the experience to you.
